I am writing to express my interest in filling an entry level position within the plumbing trade. Given my related experience and my desire to learn the trade, I would appreciate your consideration for this position. I am ambitious and eager to expand my range of skills and overall abilities. I have experience using a wide variety of power tools and other instrumentation and a strong understanding of computers and other forms of technology. I am adept at reading and understanding blueprints, diagrams and schematics and am able to adapt to changing work conditions by applying problem solving methods. I also have efficient organizational skills and I am detailed oriented. As well, safety is one of my top priorities. I am well trained and focused, regarding safety for myself and those around me at all times. I have reliable transportation and am willing to relocate if need be. It is my hope that I can acquire an apprenticeship and attain a career within the plumbing industry. In the long term, my ambition is to excel and build upon my current work experience and skills by committing myself to learn all that I can, so that I can one day achieve Journeyman status.
