Company Description Our client, a full service mechanical contractor company serving Colorado for more than sixty years, has an immediate need for licensed Journeyman Plumbers with commercial plumbing experience. This for a regular full-time position, working Monday through Friday out of the Denver or Colorado Springs office. Job Description PRIMARY OBJECTIVE To assemble, install, or repair fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing code. JOB DESCRIPTION/SPECIFIC TASKS 1. Assembles, installs or repairs fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems. 2. Studies building plans and working drawings. 3. Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided. 4. Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes. 5. Cuts openings in walls and floors. 6. Cuts and threads copper or plastic piping. 7. Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings and pipes. 8. Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures. 9. Repairs and maintains plumbing/piping systems. 10. May weld holding fixtures to steel structural members. Qualifications Must have completed a recognized apprenticeship, and /or work experience of over two vocational educations, years and up to and including four years. Must also be a current licensed plumber in Colorado Must have commercial plumbing experience Able to travel up to 70 miles for job Additional Information Job Store is an EOE.
