Hello, My name is Bennett Green, I'm 21 years of age and have been an apprentice for 6 years. Before I started Plumbing I worked for Mendez Electric in the Oilfields of west Texas and New Mexico. I quit the oilfields and turned to plumbing because it was so simple to me and I love taking on big projects. I have a master plumber who can't sign off on my hours because he is retired. His name is Gregory Douglas and he was the owner of G&L Mechanical before he sold his company and became very wealthy. I occasionally do service calls for him and still stand by his side 110%. I'm trained for Hydrogen sulfide Awareness, PPE, Fall Protection Hazcom, Confined Space Entry, Lock out/Tag out, Drug Free Workplace, Driving Safety, Electrical Safety, Respiratory Protection, Fire Safety, Blood borne Pathogen's and Safe Work Practices. I also have completed Basic 8 hour safety training in Ector County,TX through VICO Safety Solution. I Currently live in Irving,TX and started a family. I'm very dedicated to my work and take projects serious. I have reliable transportation and basic hand tools and I'm ready to further my career. As of now I'm working for Kilgore Industries and am building a 25 story high rise for the Sky house of Dallas on the corner of 2320 N. Houston Street and Lamar street For the City of Dallas, TX. I have several experience in storm drain risers, sanitary sewer lines, gas lines/black pipe. Solvent fittings, water supply line's, Pex tubing, all copper pipes, sch 80 pipe for commercial water supply (grey) black pipe for natural gas, expansion tools, water heaters, tankless heaters, Back flow preventers, natural gas/ propane installation and more. Blueprints for me are common sense and is basically a layout of piping. I started plumbing when i was 15 years of age but wasn't able to receive my apprentice license until i turned the age of 16 and i love what i do with a passion. Geometry and math are my best subjects and really come in handy for the plumbing trade. I have several references that can guarantee I'm the man for the job. Being an employee is one thing but being apart of a family is forever. I'm honest, reliable and have had several years of hands-on training with some of the best master plumbers in Texas. I have 4 year's education in commercial plumbing and 3 year's in residential service. I was doing service calls for Raytheon incorporation for One-Stop Maintenance. I was servicing Wal-Mart's, Target's, Mall's and other businesses in the Dallas Fort worth metropolex.
